England were looking to push on from their first innings lead and they did so with relative ease against the Dutch. Chasing down a total of 185 with 7 wickets in hand, they only needed 5.5 overs to achieve this. The opposition was bowled out for 138, with Tom Curran being the star performer with figures of 4/29. Ben Duckett also had a good day, scoring 34 not out and taking 2 wickets for 18 runs.

The England cricket team are in the middle of the third inning of their st ODI against the Netherlands. Interesting Stats After Match Day One
After the first day of the five-match ODI series between England and the Netherlands, it is clear that the hosts are in a commanding position. England, who won the toss and elected to field first, managed 192/5, with Jos Buttler (37 not out) and Ben Stokes (27 not out) putting on an impressive show. The Netherlands were bowled out for 172 in their innings, with Ross Taylor (40 not out) and David Willemse (36 not out) being the only ones to cross 20.
